Oh girl – I am SO glad I could help you out with this. Seriously, it is SUCH a guessing game. Am I producing enough milk? Is baby drinking enough milk? No one has ever had the answers….until now!!

Emmy didn’t gain anything between her two month and four month appointments. We know she hit 6 lbs at one point because I’d weight myself with her and without and my mom said she felt like she’d lost weight in the week or two leading up to that appointment. So now she’s on four bottles a day (breastmilk +fortified formula for the extra calories, protein and calcium) and I’ve been pumping my little heart out and nursing her too and just trying to increase my supply. I’d love to get back to being able to just nurse her and know how much she’s eating so I can tell the doctor. I’m going to look into this this weekend. THANK YOU!!!
