Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter softened
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • cinnamon and sugar to roll

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar
  2. Add eggs
  3. In another bowl, add flour, tartar, soda, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until well combined.
  5. Chill the dough for 30 minutes (chill the cookie sheet if possible).
  6. Roll dough into spoon sized balls and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture
  7. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes, until barely brown at the edges
