The Best Pecan Pie

Ingredients

Crust:

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 TB vinegar

Filling:

  • 1/3 c. butter soft
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. Karo syrup
  • 3 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans chopped

Instructions

Crust:

  1. Mix flour and salt.
  2. Cut in Crisco
  3. Add milk and vinegar

Filling:

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add Karo, eggs, vanilla, and pecans.
  3. Spoon into pie crust.
  4. Bake at 300 for 30-60 minutes, or until it mildly jiggles.
