Simple Pie Crust recipe

Servings 1 pie crust


  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 2-3 TB water cold


  1. Mix flour and salt.

  2. Cut in the shortening.

  3. Slowly add in the water. 

  4. Carefully knead. 

  5. Roll out to desired size.

  6. Place in a pie dish. 

  7. Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes (or until puffy).
