Simple Pie Crust recipe

Servings: 1 pie crust

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 2-3 TB water cold

Instructions

  • Mix flour and salt.
  • Cut in the shortening.
  • Slowly add in the water. 
  • Carefully knead. 
  • Roll out to desired size.
  • Place in a pie dish. 
  • Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes (or until puffy).
