Holidays are coming. Hallelujah for Betty Crocker. (HERE)

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE baking and I love baking things from SCRATCH, but this time of year starts to get a little CRAZY. Ok fine – A LOT crazy. Suddenly there are parties, events, school parties, more events, potluck, family parties, white elephant parties…. the list goes on and one. Most of the time you’re asked to chip in and it’s usually last minute. You know it is.

Let’s avoid the stress this year and cut ourselves some slack. Heck, you’re making this at home so you can totally say it’s HOME- made. (See what I did there?) The frosting is super cream cheese-y (very reminiscent of cheesecake) and it’s topped with Reese’s. I mean – you really can’t go wrong.

The joy of this Betty Crocker recipe (by Betty Crocker deliciousness HERE or at your local Walmart) is that it’s dang delicious and dang fast. Super easy and people will be super impressed. It will look like you slaved for hours but really – you SOOOO didn’t.

So I made this dessert and it was NO BIG DEAL. No stress. Minimal mess. The hardest part was deciding which combination to go with. (There are so many options!)

I served this Betty Crocker chocolate Reese’s pizza to my family and it was a huge hit. It is a little rich, but that didn’t stop anyone from going back for more.

I will admit – I didn’t have any Reese’s candy IN MY PANTRY. I assumed I could swipe some from my little girl’s Halloween candy stash but there were only a few! Sadly, I relinquished some of my precious Reese’s pumpkins – the most coveted of all the Reese’s – to top this delicious Betty Crocker pizza. It was worth it.

I easily could’ve done a sugar cookie crust with the same frosting and fruit. I could’ve done a peanut butter cookie crust with an Oreo topping. I could’ve done a chocolate chip crust with chocolate ganache topping – the options are endless. Use your imagination! For Christmas I’d love to do this same chocolate cookie crust with some peppermint Oreos and candy canes. What would be your favorite combination?
