Emotional Healing

Have you heard of emotional healing before? I believe, but it honestly hadn’t even crossed my mind until someone mentioned it, but it makes a LOT of sense.

Emotional Healing

Intro Mary – the emotion master. Ok, so she might not be the “master” but she’s pretty amazing. She has been practicing for many years and uses the Emotion Code book as her guide. I plan on buying this book to learn more, but again – she’s been practicing for YEARS so she’s gotten pretty dang good at dealing with emotions that are trapped inside of us.

As soon as I heard about this, I couldn’t stop thinking about it, and my mind kept coming back to my little Ian. I was SURE I had some emotions I hadn’t worked through.

To my surprise, my first appointment wasn’t about my sweet angel baby at all, but about past issues that my head and heart had moved past. My body still hung onto those emotions strongly and Mary helped me release these emotions. It wasn’t until my second appointment when we specifically asked about Ian that those trapped emotions came out. Guys. This is FASCINATING to me.

So how does it work? (because I KNOW you’re curious – I’ve piqued your attention!)

Mary asks tests your arms strength to get a baseline. She had me say things that were true (“My name is Kaylynn”) and things that were false (“My name is Bob.”) to see how my arm / emotions reacted.

Once a baseline was reached, she began asking questions to pinpoint if there was a trapped emotion, what the emotion was, and what AGE it was. She was able to tell I WHEN I was feeling a certain way and WHAT AGE I WAS. It was unreal how spot on this was. I was pretty emotional that night and a little touchy the next day or so, but that’s to be expected after opening up all the emotions, right?

Then Mary told me how she used this technique on her 3-month-old baby and again, my eyes were opened. Kids are SMART. What if my kids had picked up on insecurities? My fears? My emotions? I begged Mary to come try her techniques on my 5 year old girl (for a baby an adult would hold the baby and the questions/arm test would be done on the adult).

Sure enough, there were some issues, but luckily it wasn’t geared toward me. Mary helped T “release” those emotions. It was a super cool thing to watch.

Again, I had never heard of The Emotion Code, or emotional healing, but it JUST MAKES SENSE. Your body holds onto emotions and sometimes they need help getting out. Simple as that. I am SO glad I went. I would highly recommend this for any human out there, but especially any mamas who have lost a child – it was an amazing experience.

Find Mary on Instagram @mary.made.whole or check out her website. Schedule an appointment with her (under Integrative and Wellness– Emotion Release Session, Children’s session, or Heart Wall session) or you could call 801-363-2872. Trust me, you won’t regret it. Mention me (Kaylynn, Among the Young, etc) and Mary will give you 20% off your first visit all through October. You don’t get much better than that, right?

This concept of emotional healing is new to me. I’ll check out the book.
