This “ALWAYS” iron on vinyl shirt may be my newest favorite. One must wonder – how many shirts does Kaylynn need? All the shirts my friends. All of them. I’m addicted.

July really trully is a MAGICAL month. Yes, it is my birthday – but it’s also Harry Potter’s birthday. I know. You’re jealous that I share my day of birth with the boy who lived. It’s ok. Be jealous.

To prepare for my birthday, Harry’s birthday, and July in general I re-read the Harry Potter books. (It was also for book club – what a fantastic pick, right?

The last time I read the books was when they first came out. I didn’t read the books, I DEVOURED them. You can barely call it reading, I went so fast that I missed things and didn’t fully appreciate the wonder and magic that is Harry Potter. Now that I know how the story ends, I took the time to really relish the books.

One of my favorite things about re-reading was knowing Snape’s secret from the beginning. All throughout the books he trashes Harry’s father for being “lazy” and “arrogant” but he never mentions anything about Harry’s mother, Lily.

It’s not until the final book in one of the final scenes we learn of Snape’s love for Lily and how his patronus is doe like Lily’s.

When Dumbledore asks, “Lily? After all this time?”
Snape’s response is “ALWAYS.”

Again, the first time I read this some of the meaning was lost. This time, I got it. I’m a sucker for the movies and Alan Rickman gives an incredible performance in his flashback scenes. Cry-worthy even. I knew I had to make an Always DIY vinyl tee to remember this beautiful scene.

As I look at the pictures, I wonder if I may have made my doe a little bit too big, but oh well. Pictures can’t show how GLORIOUSLY sparkly this white iron on vinyl is. I saw it in the store and HAD to have it. Sparkles are life. Always. And they are perfect on this Always DIY vinyl tee.

My vinyl is the white glitter vinyl from Cricut and of course I cut out my design using my amazing Cricut Explore.
