One of the questions I get asked the most about Lipsense is, “What is your favorite neutral Lipsense color?” To me – this is a REALLY tricky question because everyone has their own idea of what “NEUTRAL” means to them.
Some people define their “Neutral” as a brown or light pink. I would say my Neutral is a hot pink. It totally depends on the person and their preferences. So I’ve put together a list of Neutral Lipsense colors that are basically just my top sellers, the classics, the “you can’t go wrong with that” color. Hopefully that makes sense.
3 Lipsense Tips and Tricks
First of all, there are a few tips and tricks to applying Lipsense. Most of these colors are fairly easy to apply, but just in case you’ve forgotten here’s a good reminder:
1. THIN LAYERS.
Some colors are thicker than others, while some are thinner than others. The key is thin layers. It’s recommended to do 3 coats for the lasting power of Lipsense to really kick in, but no one will tell if you do more or less!
2. DRINK WATER.
I know that sounds silly, but staying hydrated will helps your lips retain that stunning color and keep your lips from feeling dry and crackly.
3. GLOSS OFTEN.
The glossy gloss is your best friend.
Before you eat? Gloss.
After you eat? Gloss.
Want more gloss on? Just add more gloss. You won’t regret it.
Best Neutral Lipsense Colors
Caramel Apple
This is BY FAR my favorite color of neutral lipsense. It’s the one I grab the most often, the one I mix with, the one I feel compliments my skin tone and so many other ladies agree with me. It’s shimmery and the perfect color of reddish pink that compliments just about every face and skin tone. Trust me.
Bombshell
This beaut is one of my favorite colors to recommend to ladies who want something that’s “barely there.” It’s sheer and lovely and super easy to apply. For the ladies that want a lipstick but don’t want anything too bold or crazy, this is always my first suggestion.
Beige Champagne
Beige Champagne is one of the best neutral Lipsense colors that exists. It’s the perfect amount of sheer with just the slightest tint of brown. It looks good on everyone. It’s actually too light on my skin – I love to layer it with other, thicker, colors. But I’ve never had anyone complain about this color because it’s amazing.
Sheer Berry
For the person who wants just a smidge of color (like me) but doesn’t want to go crazy dark … this is THE COLOR. The perfect everyday color that gives a slight shade of purple, it goes on thin and is easy to layer with other colors.
Rose All Day
Rose might not SEEM like an amazing neutral lipsense – especially since most people that are looking for any color of Lipsense want to “steer clear of orange” but trust me… it totally works. This color accentuates your natural lip color with the slightest bit of sparkle and brightens up your entire face. It’s almost like magic.
Pink Champagne
Chances are, if you want a neutral color but don’t want Beige Champagne, then Pink Champagne is the one for you! This is one of the most popular colors because it looks so incredible on so many different skin tones. Just like Beige Champagne , it’s perfect for layering and applies really easily.
Bella
Bella was all the rage for awhile but I couldn’t ever try it because it was always out of stock. Once I finally got my hands on this color I fell HARD. The best way I can describe it is the perfect 90’s neutral. It’s like the color that Rachel and Monica wear in every episode of FRIENDS. I’ve never seen this color look bad on anyone either – I can honestly say that Bella is in my top 5 favorite Lipsense colors.

Do you need a lip liner with your lipstick?
Kaylynn Zoe says
I depends! There are lip liners but I usually don’t use one unless it’s a super dark color or red.
