My favorite part about Easter? REESE’S. Those guys over there are pure genius when it comes to those delicious eggs. Yes yes, I realize that Easter has passed…So sue me…but look at these pictures? Look at these cupcakes! Must share!
I’d seen cupcakes with a Reese’s in the middle…but never an EGG. Can you even IMAGINE the deliciousness?
I am here to witness to you, my friends, that this cupcake was incredible. I made a bunch and had to GET RID of most of them because they were TOO. DARN. GOOD. And I could NOT stop eating them.
This is how Handsome found me….after taking pictures…they were too oo-ey goo-ey! I HAD to eat!
I’m gonna make it simple.
Whip up your favorite cupcake (doesn’t have to be chocolate!)
Cut the Reese’s Egg in half (so they fit in the cupcake tin)
Decision time: Use both halves in one cupcake? (Trust me, It’s possible!) or just put a half in? Personally, I tried both, and half was enough. Test it out before you do though…
Bake
Cook
Dip in Chocolate Ganache (I used whipping cream and chocolate chips…cheater cheater)
Top with Peanut Butter haystacks. (I’d include a recipe, but you just mix butterscotch chips, pb, and chow mein noodles until desired consistency and then lay them out to harden. No science there.)
ENJOY and try to NOT eat all of them… I dare you….

Oh my goodness! I would not be able to resist eating all of them 🙂  I made cookies and put half of the batter in the freezer for “Later”….bad idea.

Hahah! I do that SAME thing – not surprising since we’re the same person! Currently… I have three different cakes, two kinds of cookies, and some cupcakes in my freezer…naughty naughty!
