The first time I saw the expression “Sparkle babe” I was hooked. Me and glitter – we go WAY back.

I mean like – junior high back. Before it was cool, Kaylynn was POUNDING on the glitter. I remember once (still junior high aged) I had a nightmare that sparkles could kill a person. I was devastated – how could one live without sparkles?! I remember telling my friends my tragic dream and none of them cared – but to me, it was a HUGE deal. So dramatic, right?

OF COURSE I got my fabulous gold sparkle vinyl from Expressions Vinyl. If you are purchasing gold vinyl, be warned there are THREE gold options. One is called GOLD another is called OLD GOLD, and the last is called BLACK GOLD. Depending what look you’re going for, they would all be fabulous. I tend to stick with the plain GOLD myself – but to each their own and each color of shirt or phrase could look better in a different color of vinyl. Did any of that make sense? I’m obsessed with making shirts. Let it be known.

I bought my shirt at Target for seriously $8-$10. I mean, it’s a white tee shirt. Come on. Nothing special here.

My skirt is from Agnes and Dora. First of all – it’s a freaking GOLD skirt. But most importantly….it has pockets. Hear the Hallelujah chorus!

The headband is from Lemons and Lace – I created a custom look with (of course) a gold sequin bow. A sparkle babe tee shirt NEEDED the glitziest glam headband possible.

Finally, the necklace was from a giveaway I won off Giggles Galore – she found it at a boutique and I was the lucky winner. I literally wear this necklace ALL the time.

I cut this design out on my Cricut machine. I have a crafting problem. It’s an addiction!
