Apple Pie. But not just any pie – the best apple pie recipe is right here. The American classic –
Ok Ok, I lied a little. Chocolate pie is my favorite. That fact has been made very very clear. But apple pie was RIGHT UP there. And yes, this is the BEST Apple pie. Ever.
Instead of birthday cakes, I’d ask my mom to make a pie. Not even joking. My mom complied too. Have you ever tried having an apple pie for your birthday? It’s pretty awesome. Definitely not the norm.
I’ve had other apple pies, but this recipe is my favorite. What makes this apple pie so dang special? Well, obviously it’s served warm with a scoop of ice cream. That’s a given. It’s got a flaky crust – as any pie should. The KEY to this pie is the sheer amount of apples and the awesome amount of cinnamon-ey gooey goodness that is smothered all over. It’s unlike any other pie I’ve ever had. And it’s the best. I mean… look at all the OOEY GOOEY-ness that can’t even be contained in the pie! It’s unreal people!

This looks wonderful! Apple desserts are by far my favorite. I especially love them with melted ice cream. Yum!
