Best Pina Colada Recipe
It is SO HOT this summer. Seriously – it’s one of the hottest Utah summers I can remember in awhile. I’m not complaining about the heat – I LOVE it! One of my favorite things to do when it’s blistering hot outside is to cool down with a delightfully cool beverage. Bonus points if it’s slushy and delish.
Piña Colada has been a family favorite.
Virgin Piña Colada
Growing up my siblings and I would beg our parents for the chance to order one at a restaurant or cruise ship. It didn’t happen very often, but when it did, it was a TREAT! It was tricky to find a GOOD VIRGIN Piña Colada….sometimes the waiter would miss the word “VIRGIN” before Piña Colada…WHOOPS! But seriously – how many small children are ordering alcoholic beverages? Silly waiters.
My brother’s friend’s dad taught him how to make this amazing recipe. He then came home and taught my mom how to make it. No joke – I legit thought this was my mom’s recipe. WHOOPS.My bad!
And guess what? It is NOT HARD. It is EASY piña PEASY!
