This Peppermint angel food cake is the most simple candy cane dessert you could make this season. You can use a homemade cake, a store bought cake, or a mix – this Peppermint angel food cake is super light. It’s also ridiculously simple and delicious.
Peppermint angel food cake – pretty straight forward and super delicious.
Peppermint Angel Food Cake
You might look at my recipe below and think, “Kaylynn, are you kidding me?” I mean, it’s an angel food cake with peppermint whipped cream. Not a whole lot to it, but this recipe has some sentimental value to it. I worked with a very dear friend at Hillcrest – she made it a few years ago and I fell in LOVE with it. Mostly, I loved that it wasn’t super difficult. And again, I love peppermint.

My candies melted into one big blob that wouldn’t dissolve. Any tips or ideas as to what I did wrong?

Sandy – are you referring to the crushed peppermint that goes in the frosting?
